END OF AN ERA
Dear Friends,
I have the sad burden of informing you that Dennis Whitlam our GSL for the past several years has made the decision not return to the Group as GSL, and therefore will be stepping down with immediate effect.
His Scouting adventures have come to an end, after 34 years as perhaps the most loyal ambassador of the Group. Hopefully the Group will continue the good work that he has given so much of his life for.
He has said that he will continue to promote Scouting, simply because he can see that he has helped so many young people to become who they are and Scouting was the thing that allowed him to meet them. For which he is eternally grateful.
Thank you very much for the support that you have given, via email and telephone. Dennis has been overwhelmed with your kind words.
